LapWall supplied and installed 255 roof elements, covering a total area of 12,553 m², for DB Schenker's new logistics centerl. The installation was carried out in sections, with the first three sections of the main hall completed in just six days.
The load-bearing structure of the roof elements consists of LVL beams. The roofing material can be either a two-layer bitumen roofing membrane or a single-ply PVC membrane. The elements can be fully or partially insulated.
The roofing membrane, thermal insulation and underside lining are installed at the factory. The underside can be finished with coated plasterboard, acoustic panels or vapour-tight, polyester-coated sheet steel. The sheet steel solution is particularly suitable for buildings requiring high standards of hygiene and moisture resistance.
LapWall's roof element solutions provide reliability for construction projects where technical performance, schedule certainty and predictable project execution are essential.
