LapWall supplied prefabricated wooden facade elements for the Särmä Commercial and Service Centre in Hyrylä, Tuusula.

The new Särmä Commercial and Service Centre houses the Tuusula municipal offices, a Prisma supermarket with additional retail premises, a two-storey underground car park, a service yard and an outdoor parking area. The six-storey building has a gross floor area of approximately 35,100 m². LapWall supplied and installed 124 facade elements with a total area of approximately 2,881 m².

The facade is the most visible and one of the most functionally critical parts of a building. In hybrid construction, it is also one of the most effective ways to utilise the benefits of wood.
